At Tŷ-Mawr, we have a range of systems using environmentally-friendly materials that both respect and support the nature of these buildings as well as the planet.  

In the drive towards energy efficiency and carbon savings, we are all being encouraged to insulate our homes but care must be taken with older buildings as they need to maintain vapour permeability to manage moisture, any insulation solution must also be vapour permeable to avoid the problems including damp, mould growth and condensation. 

The materials we offer are lime and natural fibre products which focus on providing thermal improvements whilst maintaining vapour permeability. We provide an insulation options for most aspects of a building, from solid wall insulation, solid floor, to warm roof systems. Our systems can also be used for extensions and new builds so check out our timber frame options if you are looking to extend your home.
