We have been running courses in traditional and sustainable building skills and techniques since 1996. The training is based in a beautiful complex of Grade II* listed buildings on the shore of Llangors Lake, in the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park in Mid Wales.

Introduction to Lime
A two day course showcasing the wide range of lime products, this practical workshop will give you a good understanding of how to choose and use the correct materials, with plenty of time to ask questions about your personal projects.

A comprehensive one day course covering the history and styles of thatching, as well as practical hands-on work on a purpose built display.It will cover what is and isn’t repairable, new and repair projects, and selection of materials.
