Yes, you can tile onto lime plasters, just make sure they have cured before tiling.
You can use an ‘off the shelf’ tile adhesive.
Apply the tiles with a full bed rather than dot and dab. If you want to use a lime-based adhesive then you can use Adhere Cal.
Where tile manufacturers recommend a certain type of adhesive go with their recommendations.
