Bridge Abutments & Roadways
Glapor was used under the road surface in the lead up to the bridge to carry the carriageway over poor ground conditions, to prevent subsidence of the road deck. It was also used as a fill around the bridge support towers to help keep them stable, but without exerting pressure.
