This example is based on achieving a u-value of 0.27 W/m2k or better, i.e. the elemental U - Value requirement from the English elemental extension standard from LB1, As these constructions would tend to be more commonly be used for new walls, for example, for those used in an extension. To meet Welsh Standards please use 140mm of insulation and 60mm of the woodfibre boards to get a u-value of 0.20 W/m2k. For more information please give our technical team a call.
