This example is based on achieving a u-value of 0.30 W/m2k or better, i.e. the elemental U - Value requirement from either the Welsh or English Approved Document L1BG, when upgrading the performance of an existing wall with internal or external insulation, although the exact standard that is achieved will depend on the type and thickness of the existing masonry wall they are applied too. Details

Schneider Multitherm 140 - The interior insulation board to plaster over.  Wood as a raw material lends the Multitherm 140 capillary and moisture regulating properties, preventing interior moisture damage, if properly installed. Multitherm 140 also maintains a pleasant, healthy indoor climate.

Schneider Top - is under-rafter insulation for plastered surfaces, for effective roof renovation from the inside. The Top Boards may also be used for improving the thermal protection of walls with ventilated façades.
