Details

The EcoCork board supplied by Ty-Mawr provides excellent thermal and acoustic performance for external as well as internal walll applications as well as being environmentally-friendly!

The use of 100% natural expanded cork panels on the external face of a building, ensures the maximum thermal insulation and a significant acoustic protection, simultaneously preserving the environment.

Natural and renewable (extracted from the cork-oak tree every 9 years, the cork supplied by Secil Argamassas in the Ty-Mawr EcoCORK system is a breathable insulating material, free from any chemicals, synthetic resins or carcinogenic materials, which contributes for a healthy environment inside our homes.

The cork’s low thermal conductivity (λ=0,040 W/m.K) offers a high energy efficiency, thus contributing for an environmental and economic saving.

The adhesive mortar ADHERE Vit, which is a dry-bagged mix of Natural Hydraulic Lime and cork aggregates, ensure the perfect compatibility and secure the correct fixing of the insulation cork panels.

This system is ideal for application on both Internal and External masonry walls.

  • The manufacturers buildup should be used for External applications utilising the adherevit as an adhesive, Cork boards and Insulated Masonry Fixings, meshed Adhervit in a 10mm basecoat and the NHL Finishing as final Render Finish
  • For Internal applications utilising the adherevit as an adhesive, Cork boards and Insulated Masonry Fixings (or boards can be double-adhered) and a final finish of Fine Lime Hemp Plaster  (or Fine Finish Plaster)
