Established in 2015, CEWOOD is a 100% Latvian company. They are the only manufacturer of panels of wood wool in the Baltic States. The scenic region of Vidzeme is rich in forests and high quality timber, which is the main raw material used in the making of CEWOOD panels.

The company has successfully adopted 50 year old Latvian traditions of manufacturing wood wool panels. CEWOOD panels are a 100% natural material made of top quality wood, water and Portland cement.

The wood used in production is spruce from local forests (harvested within 100 km from production facilities). CEWOOD uses only certified wood to guarantee that the wood originates from responsibly managed forests. 

The quality of CEWOOD acoustic panels and their compliance to high environmental and health and safety requirements is confirmed by the fact that they have been awarded the well-known international NaturePlus certificate.

CEWOOD acknowledges not only the importance of sustainability and protection of natural resources in today's world in it’s material sourcing but also in the production process. They use 100% renewable energy, as evidenced by their Powered by Green™ certificate.

We have supplied wood wool boards for nearly three decades in the UK and the construction boards are a popular choice for lime plasters as they provide excellent ‘finger hold’ for the plaster/render as well as providing some acoustic benefits. The Acoustic boards/panels are widely used in interior design of public and residential buildings, finishing of ceilings and walls, in premises with increased acoustic load and where noise absorption is of importance.
