Substrate Condition:
The substrate must be dry, firm, well adhered, even and free of any impurities that could hinder the perfect bonding of the product.
Substrate Preparation:
Any organic growth and/or other impurities should be removed by thorough cleaning using specific products for this purpose.
Depending on the nature of the surface, the actions prior to application of the paint vary as follows:
- Old glossy or satin paints and putties: clean the surface and sand softly.
- Absorbent substrates (e.g. concrete block or brick): apply AmbientPrimer Premium.
- If the substrate is wood, metal (without corrosion or oxidation) or non-porous (e.g. glazed tiles, phenolic panel, epoxy or polyurethane paints): apply Four2Four Premium.
Product preparation:
- Shake and dilute with water using 5-10% per litre of product.
- Ensure good mixing. Avoid excessive shaking to minimise bubble occlusion.
Application method:
- Apply 2 or 3 coats evenly. Paint in sections, starting with borders.
- Without overloading the roller, dip it lightly into the paint to spread evenly.
- Do not paint over areas that are drying and avoid splices.
- Please note that an excess of product per coat can generate microfissures.
Drying:
- At 25 °C (77 ºF) and 60% relative humidity: 2-4 hours between coats and 24-hour drying time per coat.
- Total curing occurs after 30 days, presenting good hardness and resistance. It is advisable not to clean and/or scrub during this period.
