We are delighted to be in our eighteenth year of exhibiting at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show and are thrilled to be in our sixth year of organising “The Traditional and Sustainable Building Skills Marquee” in the Countryside Care Area.
On Wednesday 26th July at 12pm, we will launch our Sylfaen insulated foundation system – an innovative, low-impact foundation made from 100% recycled foamed glass for domestic new builds as well as groundworks, car parks, stadiums and largescale commercial projects. This is significant development and we very much hope you can help us to celebrate.
RSVP: bethany.evans@lime.org.uk or sarah.johnson@lime.org.uk
As well as our usual exhibition house and wide range of traditional and sustainable building materials, insulation and paints, we will also be showcasing our new paint range - Graphenstone - this is new to the UK and the only paint with Cradle to Cradle Gold certification and our new Limecrete Direct Service – the UK’s first nationwide ready mixed Limecrete delivery service.
Our technical team will be on hand to discuss our ‘breathable, natural insulation solutions” for roof, floor, solid wall and timber-frame build-ups - all with Local Authority Building Control Registered Details and we are delighted that we will also have representatives from some of the leading manufacturers of our materials in the UK including Francisco Lopez Bosch from The Graphene Company (London) Ltd, - supplier of our Graphenstone Paint Range, Darren Scutt, Singleton Birch – our supplier of natural hydraulic limes, and Myles Yallop - The Limecrete Company, who specialise in installing our limecrete floors.
We are again pleased to be hosting a range of talks on materials, building legislation, conservation and repair with speakers from The Royal Commission on Ancient and Historic Monuments of Wales and Donald Insall Architects to name a few – check out our website for a full programme. These organisations, as well as the Powys War Memorials Project, CADW, Welsh School of Architecture, Jones and Fraser Traditional Builders, Royston Davies Conservation Builder, John Weaver’s Contractors, Rowan Bespoke Furniture will all be present.
