Ty-Mawr Purpose General Filler is a non-shrink, ready mixed mortar made with natural hydraulic lime, siliceous and calcareous sand (0-0.6mm) and additives. Suitable for repairing or restoring cement renders, lime plasters and refurbishment work on composite backgrounds.
Water addition: 200 to 250ml per 1 kg. Consumption: 1.7kg per mm of thickness per m2. Shelf life: 12 months if kept in dry storage conditions. Granulometries: 0-0.6mm.
Instructions for Use
- The surfaces should be clean and grease-free. Any loose material should be brushed off.
- Moisten highly absorbent surfaces with water prior to application.
- 1 kg of Filler should be vigorously mixed with 200-250 ml water until a lump free paste is obtained.
- Apply filler to create an even surface. Do not apply in layers greater than 20mm. If necessary level-out deep holes and cracks a second time.
- Fine cracks will need to be opened up to a width of at least 5mm before filling.
- Use the filler within 4 hours, do not rework.
