This one-day course is a comprehensive introduction to our Sublime ® Insulated Limecrete Floor system, from deciding if the system is suitable, to its design, considerations for individual projects, to a full practical demonstration of installation. We aim to run this course at one of our sites where a floor is being laid so attendees can experience the whole process and get hands-on experience with the materials.
The morning will start with a theoretical session covering the principals, preparation and design considerations for the Sublime System. Participants will then work alongside experienced contractors installing a section of floor to fully understand the process.
Many attendees book this course for a specific project: with this in mind, once the practical demonstration is finished, we can review photographs of your project to advise how the limecrete floor system can be incorporated into it and any specific considerations. Although the day is structured to ensure we complete the example floor area and cover all technical aspects, there is plenty of time to ask questions relevant to your own project.
Whether you are a homeowner looking to install your own floor, an architect specifying the floor for one of your projects, or a contractor wanting to understand the installation process, this course will cover everything you need to know about insulated limecrete floors.
