British Wool Week

Date published: 09/10/2017

It’s British Wool Week!!!

And this year we are delighted to have joined forces with The Woolly Roadshow to help us raise awareness of the benefits of our all Welsh Wool Insulation, Ty-Mawr Thermafleece.

Last year, David and Karen Griffiths launched ‘The Woolly Roadshow’, an educational promotion of British wool, British sheep and the Rare Breeds Survival Trust (RBST). The venues chosen each hold a special place in our wool heritage.

For the duration of British Wool Week ‘The Woolly Roadshow’ is undertaking a 7 day tour of England, Scotland and Wales. So why not call in to see us - today we are in Caernarfon, click here for further details.

At each venue ‘The Woolly Roadshow’ will be joined by members of the RBST, National Sheep Association and British Wool producers. Each day there will be a display of native sheep breeds local to that area together with hand-spinning and/or felting demonstrations.

Please see below a list of venues for the 7 day tour throughout the UK if you would like to join The Woolly Roadshow!
