Courses

Ty-Mawr has been running specialist courses in the traditional and ecological building since 1996 on the site of their head office on the shore of Llangorse Lake near Brecon. The restored training centre is based in a beautiful complex of Grade II* listed buildings, formerly a farmstead, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Mid Wales. The refurbished Training Centre was opened on 22nd June 2009 by Their Royal Highnesses, The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall. The site is still the family home of the founders of Ty-Mawr, Nigel and Joyce Gervis and their children, and is an ongoing restoration project.
