Sporting Arenas

The playing surface was laid over three courses of Glapor boards. The boards acted as an insulator for the undersoil heating, allowing the heat to remain at the surface where it’s needed. Channels were cut for drainage, but also to allow for the sprinkler system. The board also acted as a weather protection layer and insulation between the pitch and the car parking facilities located underneath.
