Ty-Mawr designed the specific build-up of each layer for the floor in St. Leonards Church, Yarpole which dates from the 14th century. The detached bell tower, built in 1196, is one of the oldest surviving timber structures in Britain.
The floor was installed by local contractor, Ian Godding and his team who laid it as follows:
- installing the loosefill insulating layer onto the geotextile

- mixing the limecrete slab

- laying the limecrete slab - a blend of the British hydraulic lime (NHLZ) and a lightweight, naturally fired aggregate

- laying the glaster screed on the underfloor heating pipes
