DELIVERIES
The prices in the catalogue are ex-works, you need to consider how you want to collect/receive the goods. The options are:
Collect from one of our sites - please contact with your order in advance (using the the above methods), we will then ensure that your goods are available and prepared for your collection - your will received an "order confirmation" from us so that you know when you are able to collect. Please bring the order confirmation with you. Please note new locations for 2007:
Getting your order delivered to your site - our sales team will advise you of the most appropriate delivery method for your order at the time the order is placed / received. Some of the products are not easy to distribute - we rely on your co-operation to advise us about any access restrictions, ability to offload, etc - we will then confirm these via an Order Confirmation so that you know exactly what to expect and when. However, when the goods are despatched from our premises, the Terms and Conditions on our preferred Hauliers apply (hauliers are only insured for curb side deliveries, if you wish them to offload onto sites, they may do so at the customers own risk). The options are:
1. Door to door deliveries using our preferred hauliers. (Please ensure that at least a week and a half's notice is given when placing your order as delivery slots are booked up at least 1 week in advance).These deliveries are charged at a per mile rate. Given time we can arrange 'shared' deliveries if you do not have a full load as long as we have other deliveries going in your direction. - the mileage price is then apportioned in relation to the weight of each order as well as the miles travelled.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be an hourly charge if the hauliers are not unloaded or are unable to unload on arrival and are kept waiting at your site for any reason, please be as helpful as possible in ensuring everything is organised in advance.
2. Palletised Deliveries - via national carriers for palletised goods which are delivered on rigid, faltbed, curtainsided lorries (various sizes are used so we must be notified if you have any access restrictions). These lorries do no have crane offload and can only offload with a tail lift which must be requested. In order for the tail lift be able to offload your goods you must have a hard flat tarmac/concrete area, gravel is not a suitable surface. Pallet sizes are:
Delivery is charged per pallet and rates vary depending upon the postcode and the number of pallets - please contact us for information. Prices start from £22.50 per pallet to anywhere in mainland Britain.
3. Parcel Couriers are used for orders of up to 30kg and are charged at a per kilo rate. The couriers will not usually leave the goods without signature unles it is requested at the time of placing the order so that a special code can be applied to the ticket. This must be requested, otherwise a re-delivery charge will apply if no-one is able to sign for the goods.
4. Through Stockists - our materials are now available through a growing network of stockists, please call us to find out about your nearest stockist.
PACKAGING
All orders under £150 are subject to a packaging charge of £3.50 plus VAT plus delivery.
We use biodegradable loosefill and cardboard where possible - please compost it or recycle it appropriately.
Where we use plastic buckets - we ensure they have the maximum allowable recycled content to maintain their strength and we encourage the buckets, etc.. to be reused.
