This dry glaster is a blend of hydraulic lime (binder) and recycled glass (aggregate), to make this plaster/render which is suitable for old buildings, ecological new builds or for those wanting to add a surface finish with a difference. It is available in a range of standard colours to give a self-coloured plaster/render or can be tailor-mixed to a specific colour.

glaster Premixed Roughcast Render

The glaster roughcast is developed as an external render - the increased surface area is an extremely effective way of shedding water so was traditionally widely used on coasts as well as exposed buildings like castles. The glaster roughcast is of course made with a coarser recycled glass aggregate so is widely used for its 'greener' credentials!
