Beeck's Silicate Masonry Paint - is an exterior purely inorganic paint, free of artificial resins, solvents and biocides. It is vapour permeable providing perfect conditions to protect masonry and plaster from moisture accumulation. It is non-flammable and no toxic gases are produced in the event of a fire, it is also mould resistant, non-toxic and lightfast. It is extremely durable if applied correctly to a suitable substrate - they set through a silification process resulting in a permanent, inseparable coating unlike artificial resin paints. It is appropriate for all mineral substrates - cement, lime, stone or burnt clay substrate - bonding coats need to be applied to allow this to happen to non-mineral surfaces.
