Ty-Mawr are pleased to have supplied coloured (pigmented) glaster plaster to wahaca which has provided an exciting backdrop for both the restaurant and the street art. In fitting with the Mexican and market culture, each restaurant has specific commissions focusing on street and environmental art by the most exciting artists of the moment.

Wahaca - White City!
The project has been noimated for a RIBA award...architects Marchini Curran Associates describe the restaurant as "reflecting the spirit of Mexican markets and regional food, utilising a raw and exposed materials palette". MCa worked with consultants Softroom to produce a rich interior containing a mix of historic Central American vernacular and modern influences.
